Where the sparkling Waitematā Harbour meets the downtown hustle and bustle, Viaduct Harbour is a world-class hospitality precinct in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau
Hot on the heels of a rebrand, the Viaduct Harbour team approached us to create a new online space. Championing connection, inclusivity, and conviviality, the website needed to mirror the in-person experience of Viaduct Harbour, on-screen.
This idea was the foundation of Viaduct Harbour’s new vision. The client wanted the website to reflect the diversity of the thousands of people who visit the precinct every week, each seeking something different. Importantly, it needed to showcase the 40+ businesses that call Viaduct Harbour home.
Our solution was to create a comprehensive online directory. Whether you want to browse by business type, accessibility needs or interactive map — this directory kickstarts your journey to explore everything Viaduct Harbour has to offer.
To make this a reality, Webflow was used to create a site that is SEO-first, quick to load and has strong visual impact. Landing on the homepage, an entry animation sees the V and H start apart, then move to meet each other. They connect as one — bringing to life the feeling of coming together. The website design echoes an editorial feel, simultaneously sophisticated and stylish without being intimidating.
The result is a website that supports Viaduct Harbour as it ushers in a new era. Come, drink, eat, stay. There is plenty to discover, and everyone’s invited.
