Homewerk is a multi-disciplinary build and design company creating functional, sustainable and aesthetically engaging transportable, small homes from their base in Matua.
Established by registered builder Oliver Starr and his partner Sammy Scapens, the duo set out to change the face of housing using the tumultuous climate of 2020 as a catalyst for doing things differently, while refusing to compromise on functionality, style and design.
With a passion for changing the way people considered new builds, Homewerk required a website that was both engaging and big on design and detail, much like the houses they build.
Homewerk’s website needed to be simple to navigate while having a structure and aesthetic reflective of their end product. The end result was a design inspired by 70’s-style architecture and colour palette synonymous with Homewerk homes. A custom, cabin-builder feature allowed visitors to visually explore the building options and submit an enquiry, acting as both a practical tool for Homewerk and an interactive experience for potential customers.
Our team has carefully considered the user experience of each platform for the new Homewerk site, resulting in a consistent and intuitive interface. From fluid layouts to touch-friendly controls, we have implemented design elements that enhance usability and facilitate effortless interaction, regardless of the device you use.
